Jesse Winchester, an American musician and songwriter died on 11th April from bladder cancer. He was born in the Southern United States and moved to Canada in 1964 and began his career as solo artist. Some of his great works include “Yankee lady” in 1970 and “say what” in 1981. His achievements include nomination for the Best Country Male Vocalist at the Juno Awards in 1990. He received Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers in 2007. |
